Nadia Sofokleous is a highly regarded clarinetist with a rich multicultural background and extensive solo and chamber music experience across Europe, the USA and Asia. Born in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, she recently relocated from the Black Forest region of Germany to Limassol, Cyprus.

Nadia has performed extensively as a soloist and chamber musician, collaborating with prestigious ensembles including the Air Force Academy Band, Romanian Radio Chamber Orchestra, Oradea Philharmonic, Corda Cracovia, Sinfonieorchester Villingen-Schwenningen, and many others.

She has given masterclasses at music universities and institutions in Romania, Hungary, Poland, Germany, Korea, China, and beyond. She has also been a guest lecturer at the University of Music Trossingen. From 2007 to 2026, Nadia served as a clarinet teacher, chamber music lecturer, and Head of the Woodwind Department at the Musikakademie Villingen-Schwenningen. In 2026, she left this position to pursue her career as a soloist and performer.

Nadia is an artist for RZ Clarinets , performing on the high-end RZ Solo Magoo clarinet. She is also a Chedeville artist, playing the Chedeville Kanter mouthpiece, and a SCV Ligatures artist, performing with the Tonus Mundi ligature.
