Nadia Sofokleous is a distinguished clarinetist with a rich multicultural background and extensive experience across Europe. Born in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, now lives in the Black Forest region of Germany. She is fluent in English, German, Hungarian, and Romanian, with foundational knowledge in French, Italian, and Greek.

Nadia has delivered solo and chamber music performances across Europe, collaborating with prestigious ensembles such as the Air Force Academy Band, Romanian Radio Chamber Orchestra, Oradea Philharmonic, Corda Cracovia, and Sinfonieorchester Villingen-Schwenningen.

Nadia has conducted masterclasses at various institutions, including the Music Universities in Bucharest, Timișoara, and Trossingen, as well as the Krzysztof Penderecki University in Cracow. She has been a guest lecturer at the Music University in Trossingen (2020–2022) and has taught at the Wind-Music-Association in the Black Forest district since 2010.

Since 2007, she has served as a clarinet teacher and chamber music lecturer and leader of the Woodwind Department at the Musikakademie Villingen-Schwenningen.

She is an RZ Clarinets artist that plays on the high-end model RZ Solo Magoo clarinet, a Chedeville artist and play on the Chedeville Umbra model and also a SCV Ligatures artist that plays on the Tonus Mundi model ligature.
